We are Francesca and Alessandro, and we have chosen to live here at Podere, far from the chaos and frenetic pace of modern life, to live an authentic life where true luxury is found in the simplicity of small things.
Here, our son Filippo is growing up surrounded by nature, our animals, and the love and care we devote to our dream every day.
We purchased this property in 2022 and, over time, renovated it with love and dedication.
Every corner of this place is part of us, it was strongly desired and thought out, and for this reason we love it with all our hearts. Everything you will find here is the result of our desires, which over time have been transformed, with patience and commitment, into a beautiful reality.
The first time we saw the farmhouse was on a rainy day in November. We looked around, trying to understand the extent of the renovation work we would have to do, and at the same time we couldn’t take our eyes off the horizon, which seems endless from here.
We breathed in the quiet, that inner peace that still reminds us today that we made the right choice, every time we return home.
That was the day we decided that the farm would become our nest, where everything feels like home.
We hope that you too, during your stay here, will be able to savor the scents of the countryside, the cool morning breeze, the sounds of the animals that live with us and populate the lake, the rain that on gray days can be seen coming in from the sea beyond the hills, and finally fill your eyes with the magic of the sunset while sipping a good glass of wine by the pool.
